In the meantime, you can always count on booth babes to make an otherwise blah show quite entertaining. As we all know, women with large breasts out on display sell cars, or at least auto manufacturer’s sure think so.

There are other auto/car shows that occur on a more frequent basis, like weekly. It's not known if there is a regularly accepted term for these more frequent, informal "car rallies" or "car enthusiasts events". Some meeting events have themes, such as classic cars, hot rods, etc.

An auto show, or motorshow, is a public exhibition of current automobile models, debuts, concept cars, or out-of-production classics. It is commonly attended by automobile manufacturers. Most auto shows occur once or twice a year. They are vital to car manufacturers and local dealers as a public relations exercise, for advertising products, and for increasing publicity.

On Sunday evening I was browsing one of the many event listings for Seoul, looking for photo opportunities when I discovered that I had nearly missed the Seoul Auto Salon, a car show supposedly focused on modified and exotic cars--but one look at the photos here and you'll see what it's really about.

The slang term 'booth babe' has occasionally been used to refer to a trade show model. The term focuses on physical appearance, or specifically on wardrobe, which, depending on the type of trade show, can be thematic or sexy.

It’s almost auto show season, and in celebration we’d like to take this time to honor one of the greatest accessories ever invented for the modern automobile: the Auto Show Girl.

If you have a hot car, you probably will attract hot girls - the myth is that you’ll keep them interested. A hot car is the bait, your knowledge of the car is what’ll reel them in. If a girl asks ”What kind of pound per weight ratio does this bad boy have,” or “So where does this thing redline at?” YOU NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER. There is no bigger turn off than a guy with a sick ride who doesn’t know jackshit about it.

The first automobile show in the world was held in Paris in 1898 at the Tuilleries Gardens. Only a handful of the new-fangled "automobiles" were exhibited at the outdoor location. To prove the validity of this new mode of transportation, exhibitors had to drive their vehicles from Versailles to Paris. Although he opened this first Paris Motor Show, the President of France was openly skeptical about the automobile and punctuated his opinion by leaving the auto show in a horse-drawn carriage.

This is a "brief" example of some of the many other sights of SEMA. The "booth babes" were spectacular again this year and I imagine they're the reason some guys attend :) This one featured independent rear suspension and comfortable footwear.

The Tokyo Motor Show is a classy affair -- all the world's major auto manufacturers are there after all -- so it isn't the massive display of flesh and vinyl that the Tokyo Auto Salon is. That said, there were still plenty of hot ladies around willing to let us take their pictures.

As we were going through the official press site looking for car pics we happened to notice the absurd number of images with women and that’s not including the show car babes. Don’t get us wrong; one of the first things we do at European car salons is to visit the Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat stands, but it did made us think of what Fiat has turned Lancia into.

The Tokyo Auto Gallery kicked off with a splash at Tokyo's Big Sight and row after row of displays showed off the hottest models on the road.... Oh yeah, the man of the cars they had there were cool too!
There are always plenty of great cars to look at the annual Auto Gallery and this year was no exception. But it is not what is under the hood that attracts a hard core of fans, it's what, or maybe we should say, who is sitting on top of that hood campaign girls.
